Please understand me clearly. My brother is 16 years old. He had to survive a car crash en utero so severe they had to use the jaws of life to get my pregnant mother out, and that put her in traction for weeks. He was born early at 5 pds 13 oz and spent days in NICU. He had a fall at a young age that made him epileptic til he was 3. My brother has had to fight for life beyond his own understanding and more than most of his peers ALREADY. To think that his life could be taken over a piece of clothing and the color of his skin hurts my heart and soul. This child that used to fall asleep on my chest after school. Trayvon Martin IS my brother. Ariston Waiters IS my brother. This is not a game to me. Something has to change.
